How to Select Real Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils
If you are going to try out essential oils, you will have t at least see to it that you are getting the right kind right kind does not mean getting the one coming from the specific plant that you prefer, but one that is actually real and not fake. In this day and age where everything and anything can seem t be synthesized, you have to be extra careful that what you are getting is indeed something that would be most appropriate for you and for your needs.
You well want to look for therapeutic grade essential oils and you will find that not every single one of these products that are sold around is going to pass that grade. This is why you are advised to take the time to really look around and find out as many details as you can about the oils that you are buying and where you are buying them from so you know that you are getting the value for the money that you are spending and nothing less.
Buying any essential oil is going to be easy these days. After all, you will find that there are a ton of places that sell and offer them. However, buying a good quality therapeutic grade essential oils is going to be the real challenge. This is even something that those trained aromatherapists end up struggling with, it is just not that easy to spot the fake and the real these days but it does not mean that one should stop trying. If you are going to pay for something, you might as well make sure that it is exactly the kind of product that you were promised
One of the challenges that people face when they buy therapeutic grade essential oils is that they are usually given a little bottle that contains the extracted oil from the specific plant where the essential oil is supposed to be derived from. But this actually does not give one nay indication whether it is actually true. There are unscrupulous sellers, after all, that try to get their oils mixed with other oils- especial the inexpensive kind just so they get to sell more of the essential oils. To top it off they still sell them at the same price as the pure and unadulterated type which basically means that the buyer is ripped off.
If you want to be able to determine whether you are getting a fake or the real thing a simple test can be done to help you determine it so. All you need to do is get a drop of the oil, not a white paper. Allow it to dry and if you are seeing an oily ring on it, chances are what you are being sold with is a fake. This because while these are called essential oils, they are technically not oils really. You just have to know which of these essential oils tend to be heavier as far as consistency goes since these are the kinds that are expected to really leave an oily ring or mark when the paper test is done.
